The outdoor learning environment is used daily as an important tool for learning; it provides amazing experiences and opportunities for the children to explore, discover and learn.
It compromises the surrounding fields, the castle gardens, woods, allotment, the beach and the muddy kitchen, which is a real favourite. All set against the backdrop of the beautiful 12th century castle.
We are proud to help our children to understand, respect and care for the natural world around them.
We all enjoy story time outside, whatever the weather, either sitting in our log circle surrounding the Giant's storytelling chair, or when we're out and about.
Maths, personal and social development, general knowledge, understanding and language, all through having fun with water!
Nature all around us!
Where are the chickens?
